Ramadan 2019 Fundraising Update

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh brothers and sisters,

Now that we have passed the halfway mark of the blessed month of Ramadan, we thought it is the perfect time to give you a thorough update on the fundraising activities by the Al Huda Fundraising Team. By the grace of Allah (S.W.T), our brothers and sisters have been fully engaged in fundraising on an almost daily basis since the beginning of this blessed month.

In the first 16 days of this blessed month, the Fundraising Team have visited 20 mosques collecting donations in the following cities:

• Birmingham
• Cardiff
• London
• Liverpool
• Sheffield

By the bounty of Allah, we have managed to collect a staggering £40,621.17 from the Muslim community in London and around the rest of the UK.  It is evident that the brothers and sisters of the Fundraising Team have strived tirelessly and the Muslim community has shown an equal response to this noble cause by welcoming, volunteering and donating to support the redevelopment of Al Huda.  With 13 days to go in Ramadan and 14 Mosques remaining, we are optimistic in raising another £40,000 if not more in sha Allah!

On behalf of Al Huda Mosque, we would like to thank all of the brothers and sisters who have supported us so far and continue to support us in the future.  We would also like to thank all the Muslims around the UK who have given us a noble response by donating selflessly. May Allaah build you each a house in Jannah.
